Mountain Mist 50k trail run

Team Endurance Concepts pre-race this weekend. Ice, snow, lots of mud, rocks, rocks mixed in mud, 3500 ft of elevation gains and 3500 ft of elevation loss... 31 miles of fun.

Post race pic of runners and sherpas. While I was the last one in for Team EC it doesn't bother me one bit - because I met all the time cutoffs and finished.

Adventures on Ice

No snow good for snowman or snowballs - but ice was good for sliding.

Sweetwater Creek State Park

Took the family to Sweetwater Creek State Park over Thanksgiving for a walk/hike. Other than Dean protesting 1/3 of the way in that "this is boring, I don't like nature" and then Kate getting a nosebleed on the way back out it was a great outing. Very beautiful location in Lithia Springs. Not far at all and well worth the drive.

Absent but not gone forever

Wow... it has been over a year since I posted which is about the same time I got on facebook. Yet another thing to blame on facebook.
