SNOW DAY!!

(be patient w/me - I'm figuring out how to place the pictures -- this is my first blog.)

Today Newnan got snow! Which is typical Georgia
weather (70 degrees last week - snow today). And, of course
on a Saturday so that it doesn't disrupt school or work.
Nonetheless we made due. Todd, Dean, Kate and I went out and had fun building a snow "short person", made snow angels, and just generally threw snowballs at eachother. Oh the good times.
Kate of course tried to come outside in a skirt and her Belle dress up shoes but after a few trips back into the house finally made it out in appropriate attire.
Dean got to ride his bike on the wet driveway - fortunately no ice yet so it wasn't completely unsafe. All in all we have had a great day outside followed by hot chocolate by the fire once we came inside to warm up.

It looks like you had a great time in the snow. So glad Kate and Dean got to experience snow as young as they are. We're in lovely Savannah where the weather is cold, but definitely no snow.

Sandy:
The pix of Kate are great and you have done a good job on the blog. Now you need some pix of Dean making his first par 3 "Hole in One" and/or his first half court basketball shot.
